Diabetes SoluT1ons is excited to announce the inaugural Type 1 Diabetes Community Forum, a gathering of those impacted by Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) – family, friends, and community. This one-day event will take place on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Wayne County Community College District – Downtown Detroit Campus.

This event provides face-to-face interactions allowing for greater access to clinical education resources, support systems for both physical and mental health with the outcome of implementing positive changes now and in the future. The need for community interactions like this remains as crucial as ever – even more so with the advances in medical technology and treatments available. 

This is a wonderful opportunity for you to share your product or service with diabetes healthcare professionals, patients, families, and caregivers from across Michigan and beyond.  Before the pandemic, a similar event (held by another organization) routinely attracted more than 1,500 attendees and we expect to fill the void left to provide this needed education in the community.  We expect between 30-50 health care professionals to be at the event. 

We will have dedicated exhibition time for attendees to visit with the vendors before, during, and after the educational sessions in order to provide you with the most exposure to attendees. On the day of the Type 1 Diabetes Community Forum, vendor exhibits will be open from 7:30AM through 12:30PM.
